This is the blog for AR International, the translation/consulting business I launched this year after many years of in-house translation.
Professionally, I have spent many years translating Japanese equity analysis, legal documents, and all manner of documents into English.
In my previous job, I served as senior manager helping lead analysis and research at the intersection of Japanese and international public policy. This included translations of Japanese policy documents, but even more than that I did a lot of writing to interpret policy developments for an American executive audience. I am hoping that in this new capacity I’ll be able to use these skills and talents to serve a broader client base.
In this blog I’ll post about issues and following and ideas I have, mostly about the US and Japanese political and policy environment. Hope you’ll enjoy reading it!
